A true favorite fabric, made in Italy 🇮🇹

Personally selected for you by our co-founder Benoît, this fabric has everything to win you over:

  • A shimmering pink color with a subtly faded look — soft to the eye and easier to pair than a primary pink
  • A distinctive hand feel: dense enough to hold its shape, yet soft and comfortable to wear
  • And, true to our DNA, a rich texture, created by the fine diagonal lines of its cotton twill and especially by the many irregularities (“slub”) in the weave — reminiscent of Japanese fabrics — which give it even more soul

Even though it may look like a Japanese fabric, it is in Italy, at Luigi Parisotto, that we found our gem.

A family-run mill based in Sarcedo for over 60 years, this unique cloth is woven on mechanical looms from the 1990s, slower than modern machines — and that’s exactly what gives the fabric its rare character and depth.

A functional shirt with character

Beyond giving it personality, every detail of the Western shirt tells a story:

  • The shoulder yokes were originally designed to reinforce an area historically subject to strain and friction — from manual labor or carrying a bag
  • The chest pockets were made for workers, offering practical and easily accessible storage for small essentials
  • The snap buttons, finally, were added for safety reasons: in case of a fall from a horse or if the shirt got caught on a fence, they would easily pop open, helping to prevent injury

The Camargue is our modern reinterpretation of this iconic piece, featuring asymmetric pockets with refined angles and a carefully balanced French collar.

How to wear it

Wear this shirt open with rolled-up sleeves over a t-shirt, paired with lightweight trousers and loafers (or sneakers).

It also works beautifully in a more elegant setting — try it under a blazer or even as part of a full suit.

As for colors, this shade of pink pairs especially well with ecru, blue, brown, or grey. A well-placed touch of green can also make a striking impression.
