A well-balanced straight cut

This shirt has a relaxed spirit — and so does its fit.

The Benton features a subtly straight volume designed for comfort, allowing you to enjoy the full range of layering possibilities with ease.

It’s not an oversized cut, though: the shoulders are well defined, and the chest, while comfortable, shows no excess fabric.

How to wear this shirt

This piece can be worn as a regular shirt — on its own under an olive work jacket, a navy blazer, or a navy blouson.

But it can also be styled as an overshirt, layered over a white T-shirt, a grey sweater, or even another lighter-weight shirt, such as an ecru one.

Workwear roots, contemporary look

While browsing through an old magazine dedicated to workwear, our product team found the inspiration for this shirt with four chest pockets — two on each side, with a smaller one nested inside a larger one. This clever layout is both aesthetic and functional, allowing you to carry a variety of everyday essentials.

A fabric with a comforting texture

Lightly brushed on the surface, this dense (190 g/m²) and soft cotton flannel wraps you in pleasant warmth when temperatures drop.

Beyond its comfort, the fabric also delights the eye with its herringbone weave. Up close, you can spot the secret behind its intriguing texture: one diagonal alternates rust and ecru threads, creating the shirt’s dominant colour, while the other diagonal is woven with black threads, adding depth and contrast to the fabric.

We selected this material from Somelos, a Portuguese mill renowned for over 60 years for the quality of its shirting fabrics.
