Once a tartan, always a tartan
For those looking to go beyond plain scarves, a tartan scarf is a smart choice.
A traditional Scottish pattern, tartan is composed of coloured checks formed by intersecting lines of varying thicknesses. It dates back to the 16th century, when each Scottish clan had its own distinctive tartan in unique colour combinations.
This particular scarf features a sky-blue and off-white base, crossed with red and forest-green lines for a striking result.
The pattern is unique — developed in-house and woven exclusively for us by a renowned Italian mill with over 50 years of experience, using an extra-fine wool yarn whose softness recalls that of cashmere. Quite something!
How to wear this scarf
This vibrant check scarf perfectly complements understated outfits in shades of navy, charcoal, or brown.
For a bolder touch, bring in hints of green to subtly echo the scarf, or add beige or white for a brighter, more luminous look.
