And it's no coincidence: this jacket is literally the direct descendant of the pieces worn by the first aviators. These men who flew in open cockpits, at altitudes where everything froze... except them.
Successfully featured in our collection in 2019 and again in 2023, the woollen-skin jacket returns in a new, even more accomplished version.
We're proud to be able to offer you this exceptional piece once again in a French wool skin, tanned by Rial. The company, founded in 1957, has its workshop in the Tarn region of France. It is the only French megisserie specializing in woolly skins.
This French sheepskin has character. It is dense yet supple, with a natural, slightly irregular grain. The wool inside is soft and insulating, allowing you to get through the cold season with peace of mind.
Although it has a strong stylistic identity, this jacket is easy to wear thanks to its streamlined shape and brown color. Pair it with jeans, your favorite knitwear and leather shoes. To take it a step further, think of winter materials and textures: flannel or tweed pants, tartan shirts and boots are the perfect match for this shearling.
This jacket has a slightly fitted cut that defines your silhouette. If you're between sizes, or want a straighter fit, we recommend going up a size.
