Made from a dense 15oz Japanese selvedge denim from Kuroki, the fabric is softened with a bleach wash full of character and depth, setting it apart in your outfits.

You’ll be able to keep them for many years thanks to their premium finishes and the special care we put into its Portuguese craftsmanship.

The intricate charm of Japanese denim

For over a decade, we’ve nurtured a sincere passion for the authenticity of Japanese denim.

While the industry modernizes, production speeds increase and fabrics become more uniform and smooth, our Japanese weaver Kuroki takes a very different path: one of patience.

In his workshop in Ibara, traditional shuttle looms weave at a slow pace, far removed from the rhythm of modern machines. And it is precisely this slowness that gives birth to a selvedge fabric with such a rich texture and a generous weight of 15oz (≈515 g/m²), providing a substantial and beautiful drape when worn.

The washing process, carried out in our Portuguese workshop, lightens the denim to give it a vintage look, while bringing out all the shades and natural irregularities within the fabric.
